Re: Alcohol

Dear Friends,

Booze is good in every form. (Maybe not sake, LOL). Don't care what the coc ( or the bible) says about anything.

Re: C of C People Can Be Mean

Dear Friends, Meanness in the coc is a deep pool indeed. A bottomless pool. I was an Elders kid. From them I learned bigotry, homophobia, and general hatred of everyone but those in coc. Very hard to unlearn. I sometimes wish that I was a PC so I could delete all the junk that floats around in my me...

Re: How the coC warped my view of relationships

Dear friends, Reading your posts I hear a lot of pain. This is the tyoe of baggage we all carry from the coc. I myself have destroyed 3 marriages and countless relationships, so I know of what I speak. To deal with the baggage I knew that I needed help. I found a great therapist. I worked through a ...

Re: Church Hymns (and Hers) That Got on Your Nerves

I do not sing any hymns anymore. Not for many years. I consider them just another part of the continueing brainwashing of coc. Sorry.

I remember the old songs. The "Power in the Blood ' song I think is gruesome. Visions of "Carrie" come to mind.

Re: COC Propaganda

I am new here so forgive me if I speak out of turn. I am sorry that you are still getting mail from the coc. Next, I am saddened that anyone thinks they can choose someone else's spiritual path. I have heard many times about how people on their death beds are being pressed upon to become christian. ...

Re: Hello new friends

Yes, I had children very young. They are in their 40's. I treated them as I was treated by my father. I exposed them only mildly to the coc as they grew up. They think the coc is strange, which conclusion they came to on their own. I was abusive to them. Mildly, but enough to drive them away. We are...

Hello new friends

Hi, I left the coc back when I was 18. I flopped around like a fish out of water. I knew nothing about sexuality, or how to make friends, I was a child in many ways. All I knew was that I wanted out. The emotional baggage that I left with is still with me. I fight against it everyday. I am 62 years ...
