The last CofC we attended did allow women who went on mission trips to give a report about it. That was nice. It was a good CofC.

Yes, I remember that! When I was a little girl, there was some kind of commercial that said that, and my mother told me that was wrong.

I left a message at a place that does piano lessons. Someone just texted me back that they don’t know anyone who needs a piano. I will contact more places.

Ivy, I was always taught we were not Protestant.
Agricola, I prefer the word minister over preacher. Preacher sounds kind of country and unsophisticated to me.
I think the CofC makes too big a deal out of certain words and nitpicks stuff to death.

A couple days ago, I googled someone I dated in college and saw that he died in 2014! I was shocked and thoughts of him have run through my mind. The obituary didn’t give much info at all. I looked up Sidney Rigdon, and it said there was a theory he had written the Book of Mormon.
