I suffered from depression for years. I now take anti-depressants and I am much happier.

We were not supposed to gamble. When we played poker, we just used chips, or someone’s collection of change that went back to the owner after the game, not to the winner. My dad was always the best at poker. I figured that was because he grew up betting real money in hidden games down by the river. ...

Welcome to the board. I visited several types of churches after I left the COC. I found a home in the United Methodist Church. I had to find a place where there was no requirement for everyone to believe the same on every issue. I also like the Episcopal Church, but there isn’t one in my small town.
