And in areas with high poverty like mine, many of the parents simply cannot afford these school supplies. Our local Methodist Church gathers donations of supplies, including backpacks, and gives them to all students who cannot afford to buy supplies.

Welcome back. The board has crashed a few times, so everyone had to start over. Not that I understand the technicalities of how the board works...but that is what I was told. We don't disfellowship our members when they forsake our electronic assembly!

I suspect the hidden reason for Sunday night services is so the members of the congregation will have to make an obvious choice between football and attending services. Really help separate the wheat from the chaff.
