Mostly for people who 'just don't believe (it) anymore' but possibly useful for anybody leaving any relatively controlling denomination or faith.
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

There is a support group, much like this site, for people who have left their faith.

I am no longer religious but that doesn't mean I don't see value in religion and specifically Christianity. Without question Christians have done a lot of good things in this world. I acknowledge the good works Xians are doing and generally the positive way they respond to people in need.

Unfortunately, Xianity has a dark side too, but that is mostly limited to the fundamentalist versions of Xianity. My wife attends a Methodist Church and I go with her. They're good people and fun to be with. I don't have an issue with them or their services...except the service is boring,...really, really, boring. I can tolerate the liberal versions of Xianity, but not so much the fundy versions.

I confess that I go out of my way to avoid Xian fundamentalist.
