Welcome! I agree that your best bet might be to wait until you finish college and aren't needing them financially. It sucks that you're put in that position at all. :(

I'm still attending a coc right now, even though mentally I'm ex-coc. It's hard. I dread Sundays the most.

Sounds like you are a victim of heavy shepherding and also works based salvation.
Coc is full of that. They teach you to question the group is to question God. Anyone with the truth should be open to questioning. It is the hallmark of a cult
Tough road but you can break free. For me analyzinfnfheir doctrines one at a time helped.
