Hello again! I'm Illuminator and I posted off and on at the old board. Didn't now if I should reintroduce myself or not!
About me: My earliest memory is the church. Somewhere along the way, the church took over, and I was brainwashed. My view of the world was tainted. The church off Christ gave me a severe inferiority complex with thoughts of suicide because I couldn't live up to their standards. God hated me, and life was hell, and eternity was hell. To make a long story short, I got out. I thought getting out would be the end of my troubles but it's to become deprogrammed. I humbled myself and I'm in therapy. The most comforting thing my therapist has told me is that religious mind control -- and especially the coc -- is one of the strongest, but not impossible to break.

I want to thank everyone for the support. If you're newly breaking away, hang in there. It does get better.
