I was not raised Church of Christ but attended one for over 25 years. There are a lot of great people but it is one of the most judgemental churches i've ever been to and when I divorced I really struggled with if i was ok to divorce. My new pastor told me there is only one unforgivable sin in the Bible and that if they say there is not they must be using a different bible.
Also Baptism I'm still conflicted on that and have been trying to find something on this site but seem to be missing it. thanks

Hi Bacoach, and welcome to the ex-board.
Have you visited the main entrance to the ex-church of christ site? There are a lot of resources there on various 'fond topics'.
www.ex-churchofchrist.com/index.htm
www.ex-churchofchrist.com/Divorce.htm
www.ex-churchofchrist.com/unbiblicalCoC.htm
www.ex-churchofchrist.com/BlueprintCoc.htm
anyway - there's a few of the pages available.
These links should be disabled (that's a practice we encourage) but you should be able to use them if you copy and paste them into your browser's search window or bar.

Hi bacoach
Jay Guin[/b] (a member of the CoC) has a number of articles that challenge the traditional hardline CoC view on divorce and remarriage.

Edward Fudge (now deceased, an elder in the CoC) has some articles you might find helpful.
