hi

Post by gladILeft »

I'm glad I left the church of christ
I felt so relieved when I did you don't know the weight that was lifted off of my shoulders
the constant judgment by people in the church
perceived sin carried over from others [guilt by association]
Don't get me wrong I believe in god I just feel like Lot living in Sodom/Gommorah, where he's the only one doing God's will
I will never understand why free will gives you the right to shame, belittle or condemn someone to hell but I get the other side the right to accept, encourage and inspire....

Welcome to the ex-board.
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.
