Never went to the county fair. Didn't have one. The blessings of living in a city. Door knocking was another story.
I live in a big city, and we still have a county fair. Many years, Weird Al launches his tour there, in fact.
Driving through LA a few years ago, I saw a billboard for the LA County Fair with the slogan "Teach your kids where goat cheese comes from".
