Good Bye, Folks

A place to snark and vent about CoC doctrine and/or our experiences in the CoC. This is a place for SUPPORT and AGREEMENT only, not a place to tell someone their experience and feelings are wrong, or why we disagree with them.

Good Bye, Folks

Post by GNITAC »

Well, I've been popping up here for about a year now. I've taken note that the same people seem to dominate every conversation...whether or not their opinion is asked. Thus others can't get their voices heard. I've decided to shake the dust off my feet, and move on down the road.

Happy life, everyone!

I am sorry you feel that way. You just have to jump in there with your opinion!

Live long and prosper!

Some of us do talk too much. Probably because our lives are pretty empty!

You call it "internet addiction"; I call it my social life.

If I talk too much, it's because this is the only place online (or anywhere) that people understand my background and what I've been through. Nobody else would understand.

Same here, faithfyl.

Have a great life, G, and don't lose your password - you can drop in anytime.
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

You don't talk too much, faithfyl.

That's the same reason I have been here for years. The cofc, and being an ex-cofc member, are unique experiences. I will probably hang around as long as the board exists, even though some of the brethren
get on my last nerve. And I get on theirs. I will just sit on the pew farthest away from them.
