Ask about Buddhism?

Post by katisha »

Anyone have any background in the area of Buddhism? I watched a special on PBS on Sunday about the life of the Buddha. I remember years ago reading a book about his life and thought he must have been a very deep feeling man. I would love to learn more about his teachings.

I am not Buddhist, but I've read Karen Armstrong's book Buddha. The Dalai Lama has a couple of books out that I enjoyed, they are very universally applicable and cover ethics and personal happiness.
