Still scared, but happy to find you!
Hello all. I left one of the most concervative CoC's in Minnesota. I still occasionally get sucked back in by guilt and pressure, until inevitably I remember what that pace does to my psyche. but this site proves I'm not alone. Not anymore. Never again.
God loves you. It's just his "people" that make us doubt it.

Obviously I echo your sentiment. Welcome. You will find support and encouragement here.

Welcome to the ex-board. Feel free to browse around.
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

Welcome to the community!
I hope that you feel welcomed and accepted here.
I went to school and even did mission work in Jamaica with a lot of folks from the Minnesota CoCs.
Seems to be the near Mecca of the CoC, lol.
