Web support group for people who have left the Churches of Christ

How to use this support group:

  1. Although most Churches of Christ have changed dramatically in the past 30 years, there are still 20% that are hard-line. This support group is intended for people who have left these hard-line or hardcore Churches of Christ.

  2. Use this support group the same way you would use your grocery cart at the grocery store. If there is something that you would like to take home with you, put it into your cart (there are no fees on this website). If there is something you disagree with, or something that upsets you, don’t put it into your cart.

  3. Everyone is at a different place and comes to this website with different experiences. If you have always attended a church that each Sunday clearly defined what was to be believed and what constituted apostasy or false doctrine, then seeing disparate points of view may be very disconcerting. It is important to treat each person with respect, no matter how much we disagree with them. This may or may not have been modeled in the churches we came from.

  4. This support group is not for members of the Churches of Christ. If you are happy with the encouragement you receive from your church, then praise God. Your congregation is your support group, not this website nor this bulletin board. Any comments you leave on the first bulletin board will be deleted. If you want to comment, please use the second Bulletin Board. See the FAQs for further info.
